Cancelation & change policies
Independent Travel Change & Cancelation Policy (excluding Escorted Vacations):
All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. You may cancel the ticketed reservation for some flights from the United States without a fine and obtain a refund, provided that you cancel your reservation within twenty-four hours after making it if the reservation is made a week (7 days) or more before a flight's take off.
You must be conscious of your carrier's cancellation terms. All featured self-drive and independent package payments and customized booking payments are non-refundable and non-transferable whether bookings are made through a call center or the website.
For air changes, penalties vary. The minimum fee for changes to airline reservations is determinable. Spelling corrections to clients' names after tickets have been issued are subject to airline change fees. Prices are subject to adjustment at any time at the tour operator's discretion.
Escorted vacations change & cancelation policy
All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. You may cancel the ticketed reservation for some flights from the United States without penalty and receive a refund provided that you cancel the reservation within 24-hours after making it if the reservation is made one week or more before a flight's departure. This is subject to the terms of the specific carrier.
It is your responsibility to be aware of your carrier's cancellation terms. All tours will incite a fee per change to any land components plus any additional incurred costs. For air changes, penalties vary. The minimum price for changes to airline reservations is $100 per person per segment.
If you are booked in a double or twin room, and your roommate cancels, you will be responsible for a single supplement's cost. Name changes and transfers of reservations are not permitted.
Booking
Bookings may be made online on our website www.travelcentre.us, or by telephone.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking. We do not guarantee that any of the travel services that we advertise, including on our website, will still be available at the time of booking. Once you have made a booking request, we will confirm your chosen travel services' availability.
Where you book online, the order summary email sent to you is NOT a contractual acceptance of the supplier's ability to provide these travel services; it is an acknowledgment that we have received your offer.
If travel services are available as detailed on our website, then we will issue to you a booking confirmation which is when your contract with us comes into existence, and you have entered into a legally binding agreement to purchase those travel arrangements, subject to the supplier's terms and conditions and your Agreement with Travel Centre
It is your responsibility to ensure that all names listed in the booking confirmation are accurate as per the passports of the travelers in your party and that the travel itinerary accords with your requirements. Changes are rarely possible once flight tickets and other travel documents are issued, and alterations may incur additional charges.
On receipt of all travel documents, please check whether the details such as names, dates and timings are accurate and advise us immediately if there are any errors or omissions. Please note that all flight tickets or any product supplied are non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
Flight bookings
Availability:Seat availability and pricing are at the airline's discretion. Flight times shown are provisional and may be subject to change, as per the airline's booking conditions. Most airlines stipulate that bookings are non-refundable.
Fares: Airfares can increase quickly after the initial quotation is sent, so please make the payment within 1 hour of your booking having been confirmed to guarantee the fare offered. If your fare has changed by the time you make a payment, you will have the right to cancel and claim a full refund if you do not want to proceed with the booking.
Indirect flights:Please note that some flights may be indirect and fly via other airports. If an indirect flight is offered, full details of any flight stopovers will be made clear at the time of the booking.
Baggage allowance: The passenger's free baggage allowance differs significantly from airline to airline depending on the route. Our prices include the standard baggage allowance given by the airline. Some airlines may allow additional luggage to be added after the booking – this depends on the terms and conditions of the individual airline to which you should refer.
Certain airlines consider holding luggage to be an optional extra. When you are booking with an airline that does make a charge for hold luggage, it is not included or displayed in our headline prices, and the option to add this additional facility will be offered to you at the time of booking. Should you choose not to take any hold luggage on your trip, you will receive the standard hand luggage allowance as detailed in the airlines booking conditions, generally between 5 and 10kgs, but please check your booking confirmation, which will specify the hand luggage allowance. Bags must be no larger than the dimensions allowed by the airline in question for carry-on luggage. For further information, please refer to the airline booking conditions.
Check-in:Check-in procedures are included in the booking confirmation email we send to you. Some airlines will require this check-in to be carried out online; where this is required, failure to check-in online will result in check-in fees at the airport you will be liable to pay for. Your sole responsibility is to follow the airline's check-in procedures and check-in on time for your flight. Tickets cannot be refunded or changed because of a no-show or late check-in at the airport. To allow adequate time for security and check-in procedures, we recommend that you arrive at the airport 3 hours before your departure time. Check-in counters generally close 60 minutes before departure.
Amendment and cancellation: Most flight bookings are non-refundable by the airline you choose to book with, and any amendment or cancellation will incur charges. In addition to the amendment fee, passengers are required to cover the date change penalty, as well as the fare and tax difference, when opting for a voluntary change of dates, if there’s any. Please refer to the individual airline's booking conditions for further details. As we are your booking agent, please contact us in the event of any amendment or cancellation.
Refunds for unused services
No refunds will be issued for unused vouchers or services once travel arrangements have begun.
Behaviour
Regarding the well-being of everyone involved in the travel transaction, we as the company give our operators the authority to remove and reserve the right to accept or reject any traveler/passenger & to remove any passenger whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants. In line with this, we will also not be responsible for refunding or covering any cost/expense incurred if we (have to) terminate you.
By booking with Travel Centre or engaging with our website's contents, you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by you or your behavior.
COVID-19 testing requirement - CDC order
On the 12th of January, 2021, CDC issued an Order requiring all air passengers arriving in the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. This Order has been effective from 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on the 26th of January, 2021. It is the responsibility of each traveler to comply with this requirement.
Information on where to obtain local COVID-19 tests, including proof of negative results, can be found on the various countries' US Embassy websites. A list of these websites can be found here.
Special assistance
Please make sure to bring to our notice any kind of disability you or the person/people you are booking a holiday/flight for have. When brought to our attention, your Operator will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers. However, it should be noted that some hotels, destinations or attractions might not be disability-friendly. Unfortunately, in such cases, we cannot be responsible for the denial of services of any airline, hotels, restaurants or other independent suppliers.
The Americans with Disabilities Act only applies within the United States of America, and appropriate facilities for disabled travelers are limited outside its borders. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a participant for getting on and off transportation, dining, walking and other personal needs. In these cases, we strongly encourage the companionship of a partner who can physically assist and care for the travelers' well-being.
Accommodation
All ratings are as provided by the relevant supplier, or are our own average ratings based on our industry knowledge and customer feedback. Our own ratings are clearly marked and are intended to provide an assessment of the services and facilities you should expect from your accommodation. Standards and ratings may vary between countries, as well as between suppliers. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any ratings given. We have made reasonable efforts to establish the accommodation's official rating and include this within the description of the accommodation on our website.
Visa & passports
You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, meeting all health and other requirements, and any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will visit. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for independently obtaining all visas and entry documents. The Operator is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or documentation. The Operator cannot accept liability for any passenger who is refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to the passenger's failure to produce the required documentation. All passengers traveling internationally are required to have a passport. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.
Price & payments
The price of your holiday includes all taxes and additional fees, charges, and costs confirmed at the time of your booking. Where such additional taxes, fees, charges and costs cannot be calculated prior to you making a booking, you will be given an indication of the type of additional costs that you may still have to bear.
To book your chosen travel arrangements, you will be required to pay an installment/deposit on account of the total price or the entire balance at the time of booking, depending on when you make your booking relative to the travel departure date. You must also pay any applicable booking fees.
If only a part payment is made, the balance must be paid on or before the due date that we stipulate in your booking confirmation. Failing to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking by the principal(s) or supplier(s) and may incur cancellation fees set out in their terms and conditions.
Payment
All payments must be made at the relevant time of the holiday or flight booking. We will accept payments through
- Mastercard
- Visa
- Amex
Contract
When making your booking, we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with each of the third-party supplier(s) of your travel arrangements (such as tour operator, airline, cruise operator, accommodation provider, car hire provider and transfer provider) as specified on your booking confirmation. Your contract comes into existence once we issue the booking confirmation.
Your booking with us is subject to the terms in the Agreement with Travel Centre and those of the third-party suppliers who have their own terms and conditions that govern the services they provide, and you'll be bound by these. In the event of any conflict between a supplier's terms and conditions and your Agreement with Travel Centre, the supplier's term or condition that conflicts with ours will take precedence, unless it is deemed under US law to be invalid or unenforceable, in which case the relevant term or condition in your Agreement with Travel Centre will prevail. Some of our suppliers' conditions may limit or exclude their liability to you and, because they'll apply to your contract with us, may also limit or exclude our liability to you. Suppliers' terms and conditions are often subject to international conventions, limiting their (and our) liability. Copies of the relevant supplier's terms and conditions and any applicable international conventions are available on request.
As an agent, we accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the suppliers or for the travel services provided by them unless otherwise specified
Complaints
In our capacity as the agent, we will assist you with any complaints, and you may contact our Customer Services at 1-888-381-8132 however, as the contract(s) for your travel arrangements is between you and the principal(s) or supplier(s), any queries or concerns relating to the travel arrangements during your holiday should be addressed to them in the first instance.
If you have a problem with your travel arrangements while on holiday, this must be reported to the principal/supplier/their local supplier and the travel agent immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure, there will be less opportunity for the principal/supplier to investigate and rectify your complaint. As a result, the amount of compensation you may be entitled to may be reduced, or you may not receive any at all.
If you wish to complain when you return home, please write to the principal/supplier. You will see the name and address plus contact details in any confirmation documents we send you. We will, of course, assist you with this if you wish - please contact Customer Services at 1-888-381-8132
